Learning From Seed to Table
Programs
Legacy Farm and Gardens presents their educational program, DIY Garden 2 Table — teaching families to grow their own, from the Umatilla Library to the farm.
Overview
Teaching Sessions, On the Land and Off
Legacy Farm and Gardens, with their program DIY Garden 2 Table, will host many teaching sessions — both at the Umatilla Library and, once the teaching part of the farm is built, on-site demonstrations for hydroponics, growing on the land, growing on raised beds, and growing fruit trees. We hope to create the most economical way to do each. The theme of the farm park is going back to the family unit, like it was in the 50’s — and we will show you both actual progress pictures and illustrative pictures along the way.

On the Land
